The Maui Examiner
was founded in August, 2005 by former Maui Weekly assitant editor
and investigative journalist J.M. Buck. The staff of The Maui
Examiner takes pride in bringing you local news stories that you
will not find anywhere else, digging deep into the heart of an
issue and exposing the "news behind the news." We believe
that it is the public's right to be informed of what is going
on in their community through fair and unbiased reporting, regardless
of how controversial or sensitive an issue may be.
Published
every other Wednesday, the Maui Examiner updates classifieds,
letters and advertising on a daily basis.We will also upload breaking
stories of major significance as we receive information.
The Maui Examiner
provides a forum for the community to contribute news stories.
We welcome story submissions from the public, provided they are
factually correct and can be evidentially substantiated.
